MACON COUNTY, Ill. (WAND) -Â The Macon County Health Department is hosting back-to-school events starting July 21.Â
Events will be held through October 13. The events are open to all Macon County students who will have access to age/grade appropriate immunizations, physicals, lead testing, and dental screenings on select dates.Â
The events are walk-in only, on a first-come, first-served basis.
Here is a list of upcoming events and the services provided at each event:Â
- July 21, September 15, October 1, October 13: 9-3 p.m. Physicals, 8:30-11:30 and 1-3:30 p.m. Immunizations and lead testing
- August 1: 9-1 p.m. Physicals, car seat checks, lead testing, immunizations, dental screenings, backpacks, resource fair and balloonÂ
animals. - August 11: 9-3 p.m. Physicals, 8:30–11:30 a.m. and 1–3:30 p.m. Immunizations, lead testing, and dental screenings, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Blood drive
- August 13 and October 6: 9-3 p.m., Physicals, immunizations andÂ
lead testing
Parents and guardians should bring an insurance card and records, if possible.
