SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) - The Massey Commission will meet for the first time Monday night in Springfield.
The commission was created in response to the killing of Sonya Massey by former Sangamon County Sheriff's Deputy Sean Grayson back in July.
During the meeting, co-chairs for the commission will provide insight into their work so far and introduce themselves to the community while also allowing for public comment.
It will be held at the Memorial Learning Center at 228 W. Miller St. The doors will open at 5:30 p.m.
