New attraction from CU Adventures opening

URBANA, Ill. (WAND) - A new attraction from the award-winning escape room company CU Adventures is opening.

Parcadia is described as a "magical minigolf tavern" featuring minigolf courses, a full service bar with themed drinks for guests of all ages, and a "stunning fantasy kingdom to explore."

Parcadia will have a grand opening celebration at 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 30, with a ribbon cutting ceremony and an open house.

Staff are costumed and in-character, bantering with guests, pointing out hidden art installations, and other secrets.

CU Adventures plans to continue to expand Parcadia. The 16,000 square foot space is currently only partially open to the public.

The current minigolf course will be doubling in size and an entire second course is coming, with each expanded minigolf adventure lasting about an hour for the average team.

Tee times for the current minigolf course are available to book on the Parcadia website, but walk-ins are also welcome.
