SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) - The Sanamon County Animal Control & Adoption Center and St. Martin de Porres Center are holding a ribbon cutting for the launch of a new pet food pantry partnership.Â
It will serve as a drop off location and help provide pet food to families in need at St. Martin's facility.Â
The site is designed to help pet owners in need, whether that be financial strain, temporary hardship, or unexpected changes in life circumstances.Â
The ribbon cutting will be held at 11:30 Thursday at St. Martin de Porres Center, 1725 South Grand Avenue East in Springfield.Â
