Vegan Chef Challenge

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) — The 2nd Annual Springfield Vegan Chef Challenge opens on October 1.

Local chefs will be competing for the public's votes with plant-based menu options.

To participate, go to the Springfield Vegan Chef Challenge website between October 1 and October 31 to see the list of participating restaurants and menu items.

Visit the restaurants to sample the vegan dishes being offered by your favorite local restaurants. 

Then, you can vote for your favorites either at the restaurants or by October 31 on the Springfield Vegan Chef Challenge website.

Winning dishes will be announced in November.
