Virtual career fair to be held for veterans, military members and spouses

(WAND) - Disabled American Veterans (DAV) and RecruitMilitary are co-hosting the National Veterans Career Fair on April 28.

The event will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. CST. It is free to veterans, their spouses, active-duty military personnel and members of the National Guard and Reserve.

More than 43 employers will be representing a range of industries, from construction to administrative, medical, and logistics. There will be job opportunities from entry level to senior management.

There will also be career counseling and resume assistance and opportunities to network with other veterans and get support from Department of Veterans Affairs benefits and claims assistance at no cost.

DAV will sponsor more than 90 in-person and virtual job fairs this year.

They have bad nearly 274,000 attendees and more than 167,000 job offers since 2014.
