(WAND) - The Illinois Department of Natural Resources is changing the way you reserve campsites when setting up at state parks.
It is a way to make the process of getting the correct permits and reservations more user-friendly.
The reservation platform will be available online.
IDNR said that people with existing camping reservations do not have to do anything ahead of the change.
The change will take effect on May 1.
