SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND)-The WILD Canine Rescue visited the Illinois State Fair on Tuesday.
The group stopped by the Illinois Office of Comptroller's tent on the Illinois State Fairgrounds, and brought some adoptable pups with them.
WILD President Jill Egizi and volunteers had plenty of dogs out for fair-goers to meet, and a computer available for anyone wishing to fill out an adoption application.
WILD Canine is based out of Springfield and is a member of Comptroller Mendoza's Comptroller's Critters program.
