URBANA, Ill. (WAND) — The parking lot at the Lincoln Square Mall is starting to fill up with color.
Artist Cameron Raab was selected for the Market Mural, a ground-based mural that will be the largest in the Champaign-Urbana area. Urbana Arts & Culture Program Specialist Vivian Krishnan and many volunteers helped get Raab started on Sunday.
Raab, who was selected by the Urbana Arts & Culture Commission, has a brightly colored, futuristic style.
Volunteers are welcome to sign up and help paint this week. The base mural is expected to be complete by the end of the week.
