UPDATE:
Champaign County Coroner shared the name of the victim from Friday night's shooting in Urbana.
The Coroner said, 18 year old Sherman McCraney Jr. was pronounced dead at Carle Hospital just before 9 p.m. on Friday.
An autopsy is scheduled for Monday.
The shooting remains under investigation.

URBANA, Ill. (WAND)- An 18-year-old from Urbana died Friday evening after being shot multiple times, according to police.
Urbana Police responded to the 2000 block of Vawter Street for a report of a shooting with injuries around 8:22 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers located an 18-year-old Urbana man who was shot multiple times. Officers began first aid and life-saving measures while requesting medical services.
The victim was transported to an area hospital where he later died. His identity is being withheld pending notification to family from the Champaign County Coroner's Office.
This is an ongoing investigation being handled by the Criminal Investigations Division.
Officers continue to canvass the surrounding area for witnesses and video footage that may be of investigative assistance.
Any resident or business in the nearby area with exterior surveillance camera systems is encouraged to notify the police department.
No other information will be released at this time.
