URBANA, Ill. (WAND) -- A second person has been pronounced dead after an early morning crash in Urbana on Sunday.Â
Urbana Police were called to the intersection of University Ave. and Coler Ave. just before 2 a.m.
Police said a 20-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The Champaign County Coroner identified the 20-year-old as Katherine J. Abraham of Glenview, Illinois. Â Â
On Monday, a second passenger succumbed to her injuries and passed away, Chloe Polzin, a 21-year-old woman from Deerfield, IL.
According to Police, Abraham and Polzin were two of five people in a Honda Civic that was rear-ended by a Mitsubishi SUV at the intersection near Carle Foundation Hospital emergency entrance.Â
At least one passenger remains in the hospital.
The other two passengers had minor injuries and were released from the hospital.
Police are looking for the driver of the SUV who ran south on Coler Ave.
