Saluting active and retired military. For the first time, Harley Davidson has declared November "Military Appreciation Month."
Saturday, Coziahr Harley-Davidson Buell in Forsyth is holding its yearly "Harley's Heroes" event. Debbie Coziahr says its a special day to honor those who've served our country.
"We appreciate what they do for us. The flags that we fly, the freedom we fell, we feel those same things when we ride a motorcycle, so it goes hand in hand with America," said Coziahr. "It's just one day out of the year we can specifically say thank-you."
The Illinois National Guard will be there with their hummer. The World War II Memorial Fund Group in Decatur will be taking donations. Cromwell Radio Group will broadcast live. You can create an electronic postcard to send messages to soldiers by following the link below.
