BLOOMINGTON, Ill. (WAND) - Illinois State Police seized nearly 100 pounds of meth during a traffic stop on Monday along Interstate 74Â in McLean County.
ISP said it did a traffic stop on a vehicle before 1 p.m. April 6 on I-74 just outside of Bloomington.Â
State police stated that a search of the vehicle uncovered 99.7 pounds of meth with a value of close to $500,000.Â
The driver, 25-year-old Ivan Kuckuk of Madison, Wisconsin, was arrested and later charged with meth trafficking.
Kuckuk is currently being held in the McLean County Jail.Â
