CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WAND) - Applied Pavement Technology, Inc. (APTech) is moving to a new home.
APTech is a consultancy firm specializing in pavement engineering and management solutions. For over 30 years, APTech has offered services including pavement management, pavement evaluation and design, applied research, transportation asset management, forensic investigations, training and more.
During the last week of September, APTech relocated from their home since 2006, Tiernan’s Block at 115 West Main Street in Urbana, to new headquarters on the second floor of 1908 South First Street in the University of Illinois Research Park in Champaign.
“Though our previous home served us well for nearly 20 years, we simply outgrew the space,” said APTech’s President, Monty Wade, P.E.
The facility has over 20,000 square feet of working space, doubling the prior office’s capacity.
“We are excited to begin APTech’s next chapter of growth in a state-of-the-art and team-oriented environment,” said Monty. “In addition to providing an ideal working environment for employees, it will also allow us to enhance our services and products to better serve our clients.”
APTech was founded in Urbana in 1994 and has over 75 employees nationwide, with more than 40 working in its Champaign headquarters.
