DANVILLE, Ill. (WAND) — A man is dead and two teenagers were arrested after a shooting in Danville Friday evening.

According to the Danville Police Department, officers responded to the 300 block of Plum Street for reports of a shooting. When they arrived, officers found a man, identified by the Vermilion County Coroner as 24-year-old Krisean M. Watson, who had been shot. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

After investigation, police found and arrested 19-year-olds Javonte Forman and Erik Jimenez. Both were charged with aggravated battery — public way, mob action, and first-degree murder.
