ATWOOD, Ill. (WAND) — Atwood Police are reminding residents to lock their vehicles after a burglary at a local store.
Police said on Friday on their Facebook page that two vehicles were broken into at the Dollar General.
The police department did not say when it happened, but the burglary took 5-10 minutes to complete.
Police said while the victims were inside shopping, a lookout man followed them inside, tracking them while someone else got into the unlocked vehicles.
Police said they stole items from the unsuspecting victims as they shopped.
