Mclean County, IL- Two former Mclean County prosecutors and a retired detective claim they should be immune from a lawsuit filed by Alan Beaman.

Attorneys for Charles Reynard, James Souk and John Brown say a decision in another case shields them from Beaman's lawsuit. Beaman is suing for wrongful conviction in the 1993 murder of ISU student Jennifer Lockmiller of Decatur.

Beaman spent 13 years in prison for her murder until the State Supreme Court overturned his conviction in 2008.
