Blazing fast lawn mower racers flock to Cerro Gordo

Nearly 60 of the top lawn mower racers from 14 different states are descending on Cerro Gordo this weekend for the Speedway's second annual national event on the Sta-Bil National Lawn Mower Racing Series.

There are no blades, but there's plenty of speed -- up to 60, even 70 miles an hour, in fact. Racers come in from as far away as Florida and Texas, where Robert and Holly Walker came in from. It's especially poignant weekend for Robert Walker, who is the chief of police in Kemp, Texas, after the recent tragedy in Dallas.
