DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - Thursday night, Boo at the Zoo officially opened at Scovill Zoo.
Kids of all ages have the chance every October to see their favorite animals, while getting their first candy of the season.
Numerous kids said, "I am very excited," and "There's a lot of [candy]."
A large Tyrannosaurus Rex said, "This is a very neat event for the kids and of course, I get to dress up too." The T-Rex claimed to be a human named Jamie Miller.
Boo at the Zoo dates are Oct. 17 through Oct. 20, Oct. 24 through Oct. 27, and back again Oct. 29 and 30.
Tickets are $6.50 for kids collecting candy.
