DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - A training exercise at ICAT in Macon County on Monday is rattling some windows and creating loud "booms."
ICAT Training Center Executive Director Chuck Wexler told WAND News explosives training is scheduled for Monday with various law enforcement agencies. The training center is located on Business Route 51 near West Grove Road.
Several callers to the WAND Newsroom and on the WAND Facebook Page reported hearing booms as early as 9 a.m.
Wexler said there is no threat to the public. Monday's training is not related to ICAT.
The training is expected to wrap early Monday afternoon.
