A driver was hit and killed by a train Monday.
The Vermilion County coroner says 70-year-old Lyndal Arnold of Catlin was pronounced dead at the scene after a train hit his vehicle. It happened on County Road 250 East in Vermilion County around 4:00 p.m.
The Vermilion County Coroner's Office and the Sheriff's Department are investigating.
