SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) - Governor J.B. Pritzker's administration is awarding a combined $20 million dollars to local organizations.
The money comes from Illinois’ success in the 2020 census.
The grants are the largest census investment made by any state since last year.
Champaign Urbana Public Health District is one of the organizations receiving the funds. They will get $695 thousand dollars.
