CLINTON, IL- The City of Clinton may officially have a new acting mayor after Monday night's council meeting.
Accounts and Finance Commissioner, and former Mayor, Tom Edmunds is expected to be named to the post.
Edmunds has been serving as interim mayor since Ed Wollet resigned December 1st.
If chosen, Edmunds will be interim mayor until voters elect a new mayor in April.
