PARIS, Ill. (WAND) — A man was hurt after an incident involving a gun in a Paris park on Friday night.
The Paris Police Department responded to White Oaks Park after several 911 calls about a "disturbance involving a firearm" just after 11:30 p.m.
The department said officers found an injured man when they arrived, and requested EMS to provide medical treatment. It is unclear how severe the injury was or what caused it.
Paris police said specific details are not being released at this time to "preserve the integrity of the investigation."
According to police, it was an isolated incident and an investigation is underway.
