BLOOMINGTON, Ill. (WAND) — A person is dead after being shot in Bloomington Thursday night.
Bloomington police officers responded to the 1700 block of Illinois Street just after 11:30 p.m. for someone who was shot.
The person was taken to the hospital, where they died.
An autopsy is scheduled, and their identification will not be released until their family is notified.
This is an ongoing investigation.
