1 injured after shooting near Oakland and Main in Decatur

DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) -- An investigation is underway after a mid-morning shooting in Decatur. 

It happened just after 11 a.m. near Oakland Avenue and Main Street.

Decatur Police confirmed one adult was shot and taken to Decatur Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police did not confirm how the shooting happened as the investigation is still active.
