DANVILLE, Ill. (WAND) - A man is in critical condition following a shooting in Danville early Thursday morning. 

The Danville Police Department said officers arrived at a home after 1:30 a.m. on North Franklin and found a 36-year-old man who had been shot multiple times. 

Police believed the shooting happened elsewhere, at a home on Swisher Avenue. Danville police searched the home, but no arrests have been made.

They added that there is no ongoing threat to the public at this time.
