DANVILLE, Ill. (WAND) - A Danville man was arrested Wednesday after a rash of vehicle burglaries was reported in the city.Â
The Danville Police Department said officers were sent to the city's northwest side early Wednesday morning where multiple vehicle burglaries and attempted burglaries were reported.Â
Police reviewed video footage and identified the suspect as 20-year-old Dawson Shaw of Danville.Â
Shaw was arrested just before 11:30 a.m. Wednesday along Harmon Street.Â
He was taken to the Vermilion County Jail and faces vehicle burglary and criminal trespass to vehicle charges.Â
