CHARLESTON, Ill. (WAND) - A man was arrested and accused of disorderly conduct and battery, including against a police officer, on Saturday in Charleston.Â
Charleston police were called to the 1600 block of 4th Street March 8 for an assault.Â
The Charleston Police Department said that 33-year-old Cesar Pina was reportedly assaulting women in the bathroom and fighting staff while being removed from the business.Â
Police also got into a scuffle with Pina while arresting him, which led to one officer getting injured.Â
Pina was arrested for disorderly conduct, battery, aggravated battery to a peace officer and criminal trespass.Â
He was taken into custody at the Coles County Jail.Â
