MILFORD, Ill. (WAND) - A man charged in an Iroquois County house fire that killed a woman in October 2025 has been found guilty.Â
According to Iroquois County court records, Christopher Burton was found guilty of murder with a strong probability to kill/injure.
The Iroquois County Sheriff's Office arrested Burton Feb. 27 following an investigation into a house fire near Grant Avenue and Frederick Street that led to the death of 37-year-old Ashley Tucker.
His next court appearance will be Sept. 15.Â
