DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - A man charged with first-degree murder for his role in a deadly Decatur shooting last month has been denied pretrial release.Â
According to Macon County court records, Zyishon Estes, 20, will be held in the Macon County Jail while awaiting trial.Â
Estes was taken into custody on Friday.Â
His arrest stems from the shooting death of 23-year-old Deamontae Weaver on May 22. Decatur police previously arrested 21-year-old Jarvis Smith Jr. that same day.Â
Estes will make his next court appearance will be June 10.Â
