DANVILLE, Ill. (WAND) - A man found guilty of killing a two-year-old in 2022 was sentenced to 60 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections. 

Dantrail Johnson must serve his sentence at 100%. He was also given three years of mandatory supervised release.

Johnson was given credit for 1,260 days previously served. 

Johnson was charged with murder in 2022 following the death of two-year-old Cali Marie, a Danville toddler. 

The Vermilion County State's Attorney said that Johnson was found guilty of first-degree murder in January 2026.
