DANVILLE, Ill. (WAND) - A man charged with killing a two-year-old in 2022 was found guilty of murder on Friday. 

The Vermilion County State's Attorney told WAND News that a jury found Dantrail Johnson guilty of first-degree murder.

Johnson faced multiple first-degree murder charges that were merged. He will face 20 to 60 years behind bars, which will be served at 100%, according to the state's attorney. 

Johnson was charged with murder in 2022 following the death of two-year-old Cali Marie, a Danville toddler. 

He was initially charged with aggravated battery of a child before being released on bond. 

Johnson will make his next court appearance at 1:30 p.m. March 23.
