Issaih Flagg

DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - A man accused of killing two people in a DUI crash in Decatur last August has pleaded guilty to related charges.

Court records said that Issaih Flagg pleaded guilty to reckless homicide and aggravated DUI, while other related charges were dropped.

Decatur police said 38-year-old Candace Wilt and 29-year-old Christopher Cox had walked along W. Main Street just before 10 p.m. Aug. 21. DPD said a car had crossed the opposite lane of traffic and hit the two walking on the far sidewalk.

Wilt died at the scene, and Cox died from his injuries a few days later.

Flagg will be sentenced on June 1.
