TAYLORVILLE, Ill. (WAND) -Â A collaborative narcotics investigation led by the Taylorville Police Department and Assumption Police has culminated in multiple arrests and the seizure of crucial evidence.
The operation came to a head late Thursday night when Police Chief Wheeler conducted a traffic stop on individuals associated with the ongoing investigation.
Following the initial stop, a judge approved a search warrant that was executed around 1:30 a.m. Friday by the Emergency Response Team (ERT), led by Sergeant Dickey in Assumption.
According to a social media post by the Taylorville Police Department, several pieces of evidence were recovered from the residence during the search. The following individuals were arrested in connection with the investigation:
- Clayton A. Langley, Assumption – Charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver (15–100 grams)
 - Ericka L. Zahradka, Assumption – Charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver (15–100 grams)
 - Rebecca Burke, Taylorville – Charged with possession of methamphetamine
 - Justin Bright, Taylorville – Charged with possession of methamphetamine
