SIDNEY, Ill. (WAND) - Champaign County officials have a suspect in custody after a bank robbery in Sidney Monday afternoon.Â
The Champaign County Sheriff's Office told WAND News that deputies responded to a reported robbery around 1:45 p.m. at Longview Bank in Sidney.
The sheriff's office also confirmed to WAND that an "undisclosed" amount of money was taken, and no one was hurt during the incident.
A suspect is in custody, according to Champaign County Sheriff Dustin Heuerman.
No other information is available as the investigation is ongoing.
