LUDLOW, Ill. (WAND) - A man arrested after police said he admitted to having child sexual abuse material (CSAM) pleaded guilty to possession of the materials.
Jayson Johns of Ludlow pleaded guilty to three counts of possession of child pornography, according to court records.Â
Johns will serve a total of 10 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections.Â
He will also receive credit for the 44 days he previously served.Â
The Champaign County Sheriff's Office previously said they got information from the internet crimes against children (ICAC) indicating that a Ludlow man, later identified as Johns, was in possession of CSAM.Â
Officers later arrested Johns after executing a search warrant, and they said he admitted to possessing the material.
