One man was found shot to death Monday morning in Springfield, and now police are investigating it as a homicide.

COLES COUNTY, Ill. (WAND) - A man has been arrested and charged with child pornography in Coles County. 

Nicholas A. Polston's charge stems from an incident on November 30, 2024, court records show. 

The State said Polston knowingly possessed a video on his phone of a boy under the age of 13 being sexually assaulted. 

He is charged with child pornography, a Class 2 Felony and faces three to seven years in prison if convicted. 

Polston will have a preliminary hearing at 1 p.m. Dec. 15.
