PARIS, Ill. (WAND) - Two brothers accused of a hate crime against a member of the Danville City Council pleaded guilty to lesser charges.

Jordan and Jesse Kollman changed their pleas in an Edgar County courtroom last week.

This stems from an interaction that the Paris Police Department said happened just after 11:30 p.m. April 3 at White Oaks Park in Danville.

Edgar County court documents alleged that the brothers pointed a shotgun at three men, including Danville Alderman Jaleel Jones.

Jordan Kollman will serve 11 years behind bars after he pleaded guilty to mob action and weapons charges.

Jesse Kollman pleaded guilty to mob action and will serve three and a half years.
