DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - The Pizza Place on Main will be featured by online media company America's Best Restaurants in an upcoming episode.
According to America's Best Restaurants, the show travels the country to locally-owned, independent restaurants to showcase their community impact, highlight the business, and talk with owners. The program has filmed over 2,000 episodes.
The Pizza Place on Main is located at 4350 West Main Street in Decatur, near Wyckles Road.
The episode will be filmed Sept. 3, and the public is invited to attend the taping.
The Pizza Place on Main is owned by Madison Parks and family and opened in 2023.
“We’re honored to be recognized in such a big way and it’s all because of our customers,” Parks said in a statement announcing the episode. "We vow to continue to use our success to enhance the customer experience and support our community in every way we can!”
An airdate for the episode will be announced later. Episodes are available on various digital platforms.
