LUDLOW, Ill. (WAND) — The Champaign County Sheriff's Office arrested a man after police said he admitted to having child sexual abuse material (CSAM) on Monday.

The sheriff's office said they got information from the internet crimes against children (ICAC) indicating that a Ludlow man was in the possession of CSAM. An investigation identified him as Jayson Johns.

Police executed a search warrant at Johns' home on Monday. Officers arrested Johns, and they said he admitted to possessing the material.

Johns has been charged with multiple counts of possession of child pornography. The investigation is still ongoing.
