Dangerous heat this week with feels like temperatures over 100 degrees

(WAND) - Dangerous heat and humidity will dominate Central Illinois weather much of this week.

High temperatures will top out in the low-to-mid-90s today, approach 100° Tuesday and stay in the low-to-mid-90s Wednesday and Thursday.

Once you add in the high humidity, it'll feel hotter than that.

Today, it'll feel like 100°-107°, then 105°-115° Tuesday, and 100°-110° Wednesday and Thursday.

Showers and storms are possible Tuesday night into Wednesday and, again, Thursday and Friday.

It won't be as hot this weekend with highs in the low-to-mid-80s.
