Decatur Restaurant Has Been In Business For 86 Years

Decatur, IL- Paul's Confectionery is celebrating a big milestone.

The restaurant opened up in 1924 and has been in business the past 86 years. The small local business is one of the oldest in Decatur.

Paul's is know for serving up signature chili and specialty milkshakes, which have earned them a spot in the neighborhood. Customers says that the food and the welcoming faces are what keep them coming back.

Joe Keller, Owner of  Paul's, says "it's just kind of a laid back place and anybody's welcome, we get people from all over. We are just proud of the place we've got here." The restaurant has been passed down from one generation to the next, and is always serving up something with a piece of history.
