TUSCOLA, Ill. (WAND) — A tabby cat is safe and sound at the Douglas County Animal Shelter after having been dumped out of a truck.
Douglas County Sheriff's Office posted on Facebook that the male cat was thrown from a white pickup truck in a pet container while driving southbound on U.S. 45 south of Tuscola.
The sheriff's office wants to speak with the owner of the cat and asks that anyone who recognizes him to reach out at 217-253-2913.
