Arcola students, staff, and emergency responders hold a drill to prepare the community for any possible emergency situation.

The Arcola School District held a mock crisis drill this morning, along with parents, local ministers, and county leaders.

Superintendent Jean Chrostosky says the school district has participated in different drills over the past few years, so everyone would have a better idea of what to do in case of a real emergency.

Arcola students got out of class at 11:30 this morning after the drill was over.
