Sidney – Federal Investigators plan to investigate the death of a Sidney man who died in a grain bin Wednesday.

 

The Champaign County Coroner says Roy McCarty died from asphyxiation. McCarty was working inside a grain bin when he was buried under a large amount of corn.

 

OSHA will look into the death. They will interview witnesses and company officials to determine if regulations were being followed.
