Mattoon, IL - One week after fire destroyed a popular Mattoon restaurant, a community group tries to help employees who are now out of work.
Villa Pizza was in the community for three decades and employed 35 people. To help them, the Knights of Columbus is holding a spaghetti dinner fundraiser Friday night.
Members will serve from 4:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the hall at 20th and Richmond. Plates are $6 for adults, $4 for kids.
You don't need to reserve a spot, you can just show up.
