CHAMPAIGN – The ham, turkey and special occasion food seller will be holding a grand opening event on Saturday, May 14, at its new location on North Prospect Avenue.
The Honey Baked Ham Company was founded in 1957 and has nearly 400 locations nationwide. It is best known for its signature spiral-sliced Honey Baked Ham, and offers other specialties, such as turkey breasts and deli side items.
The new store opened a few months ago at its location on 2028 North Prospect Avenue in Champaign, between Target and David’s Bridal.
Customers who visit the store between 12 and 2 PM will receive one free Ham or Turkey Classic Sandwich. The store will also be giving away a free Honey Baked Ham or Turkey Breast every 15 minutes.
Franchisee Shali Billingsley, who also owns the Honey Baked store in Bourbonnais, says she is excited to be giving the community more reasons to visit the new location.
“Whether it’s a casual lunch break or full-fledged gathering like Mother’s Day, Memorial Day or graduation, we strive to provide the highest quality food that makes any occasion special,” Billingsley adds.
