PANA, Ill. (WAND) - The Illinois Department of Transportation announced Wednesday that a 1.5 mile resurfacing of Illinois 29 from Magnolia St. to the intersection of U.S. 51 will start Monday. 

Work is expected to be done by the end of August 2027. 

The project also includes upgrading drainage, curbs, sidewalks, gutters, and lighting. 

Lane closures should be anticipated with advance signs and traffic signals.
