(WAND) - A 30-year-old New Berlin man is dead following an early morning crash New Year's Day in Sangamon County.Â
The Sangamon County Coroner said that a driver, identified as Brandon Pond, had veered off the road and crashed Jan. 1 along the 17000 block of Lead Line Road in Sangamon County.
Lead Line Road is about 35 minutes from Springfield.Â
The coroner's office stated that Pond had suffered several blunt force injuries in the crash.Â
The crash is still under investigation.Â
